MAKING OUR VILLAGE SMILE WITH FLOWERS
Borrowash in Bloom are a group of local residents who plant and maintain floral displays in and around the village of Borrowash.

The initial group formed in 2018 with a primary focus to brighten the village up and maybe enter into the Royal Horticultural Society in "Bloom Competition" which was achieved with great success over the following years.

The aims of our group are:

Improve the village surroundings through imaginative use of trees, shrubs, flowers and landscaping

Good for everyone

Community planting is a great opportunity to meet new local people, get active and to flex those gardening skills.
If you have no previous gardening experience, no problem, it's just learn as you go. We have found that the more you give, the more you get back.
​
We tidy unloved areas, carry out litter picks, organise fund raisers and generally re-plant areas that have fallen into neglect.
